Soap & Co Mineral Peeling Gel Review

Hey girlies! I hope you’re all well! Today’s blogpost will be a review on the Mineral Peeling Gel by Soap & Co.

So, I was walking around Westfield with my friend and got stopped by a Soap & Co employee who wanted us to test out their products. This product intrigued me the most! The employee had tried this on my wrist even though it’s for the face. It was lathered on my wrist and a few minutes after was scrubbed off. Initially I thought the residue after scrubbing  was my actual dead skin however, after I purchased it I had realised it was the residue from the gel. I was really interested by this product and asked how much it was, it retails at a whopping £65 to which I had replied, “it’s too expensive” haha! However, due to me being a student, it was offered to me for £30 which is a major difference so I purchased it. I got home and tried it on my face just like the employee had instructed me to and boy was I amazed. I’m going to be honest everytime I do use it, my face does go red for a couple of minutes due to the scrubbing required however, it’s only for a couple of minutes! Anyways, this product literally instantly brightens up my complexion and makes my skin feel smooth after a couple of hours of using it. My skin is now much more brighter with regular use. I must say the smell of the product is very luxurious. Also, it makes my skin feel revitalised due to it getting rid of dead skin cells, my face instantly feels fresher after using it. I do highly recommend this product, it’s just a shame how expensive the product is!

Primark Haul

Hey girlies! It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve done a blogpost (well it has been lol). Anyways with my second year of uni starting soon, I thought it was time for a major shopping spree. I thought I’d share with you guys my main purchases. 

I can always rely on primark for elegant looking plain flats. I fell in love with these as soon as I set my eyes on them, they literally would suit with any outfit of any colour. Did I mention how inexpensive they also are?!

I was in need of a thick neck scarf for winter which is around the corner. This is literally the perfect maxi scarf size which I was really pleased with as most are either too big or too small.

I loveee these oversized jumpers for them days where you just can’t be asked to make much of an effort. Also, they are so inexpensive and really comfortable. Also, they are very modest friendly and can be easily worn on top of an abaya especially on hot days. 

When I want to make a bit of an effort with my outfit, I always love sticking on a chiffon blouse on top of my abaya. I was really pleased with this one as it’s elegant looking with out it being too ott.

With winter around the corner, I thought it was the right time to stock up on cosy jumpers. These two are both plain coloured ones which is great for them casual winter days outfits!

Primark Haul

Hey guys! It’s been ages since I’ve posted a blogpost, been busy busy unfortunately. Anyways, I needed a few bits and bobs so I thought I’d pop into Primark. I thought I’d share with you guys my purchases.

With wedding season literally here, I was in desperate need for a clutch bag. I was so happy to come across this one as it is very simple and is black which means that it will suit any outfit! 

I’ve heard many good reviews about primark mascaras so I thought I’d buy one. I tried it out as soon as I got home and I must say I was very impressed, it literally does do what it says!

Nude lips are very in this year so when I spotted this lipstick colour I was over the moon haha! I tried the tester on my hand and I must say I was shocked at how creamy the texture was which is amazing as it makes it more easier to apply.

You can never go wrong with a cheap plain hoodie, need I say more?!

Anne’s Oils Review (Hair)

Hiii guyss. Todays post is going to be a little bit different than my usual clothing/shopping hauls. I am doing my first EVER hair post! (I think!)

I have been seeing these oils (“annes oils”) all over instagram and people spoke so highly of them so I had to try them out for myself!

Here’s a little look at what they look like:

First thing is PRICE. They are rather pricey; they cost me around £15 a bottle if I remember correctly.

They have a day oil and night oil (as the names suggest, one is for day use and one for night). I purchased both as I wanted to see how different/similar they are.

Lets begin with the day oil:

The day oil claims to reduce frizz and add shine which it does a brilliant job at! It does not 100% get rid of frizz but there is a significant difference and it does add a beautiful (non-greasy looking) shine to your hair.

The night oil:

I have used the night oil wayyy more than the day oil. I usually apply 2 to 3 pumps of this before sleeping and wash the next morning. It leave my hair feeling and looking so soft!

The oils claim to be odourless however I am not sure I agree with that. They do not have a bad or even a strong odour but they definitely do have an odour. (It isnt anything unbearable; it smells fine and is a faint smell!)

They have a thin/runny consistency which I really like and they do not leave your hair looking or feeling greasy, which is SO important to me!

Hair loss: These oils claim to reduce hair loss and honestly speaking I can say that this claim is true! It is not a miracle worker, I have always had a lot of hair fallout but since using this it has definitely reduced and now I don’t experience as much hair falling out as I did before.

I have been using these oils since September last year, it has almost been 9 months and I still have not finished the bottles! (I only use them once a week though, bear this in mind.)

They definitely leave your hair feeling and looking a lot softer and healthier and have reduced hair fallout for me. I would recommend these oils; they are not like any of the other oils I have tried and believe me I have tried a lot!

Hey girlies! Hope you’re all well. I haven’t had much time recently to do a big shop however, I’ve been buying bits and bobs here and there so I thought I’d share with you guys my recent purchases. 

So I don’t know about you girls but I love my accessories to look very minimal so when I came across this watch I was obsessed as it looks very simple and would go with any outfit. Not to mention it’s as cheap as chips, for £4.89 this stunning watch is a bargain!

So I’ve got a lot of black marks on my face and I’ve literally tried everything to get rid of them however, nothing seems to work. That’s until I came across bio oil, the results do take long to see however the wait is worth it, my black marks are slowly but surely getting lighter! Every time I put this oil on my face, my face feels cleaner and refreshed. I brought the 60 ml one in which I’ve realised does run out really quickly which is a downer however, it’s still worth it!

Trainers Haul

Hey guys! It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve done a blogpost. I’m going to start off by saying that I’m not much of a trainers type of girl so I’m very picky when it comes to picking trainers. However, these two trainers really caught my eye.

Schuh-Vans Black & White Old School Trainers- £52.00

Now I’ve always liked the look of Vans however, they went out of fashion for a while but now they are back in style and these are very popular. The trainers itself is very comfortable however, after a long day you can feel the weight of the trainers but is still very comfortable. I think the white laces really do make a nice statement! 

Sports Direct-Puma Vicky Platform Trainers Ladies- £42.00

I initially didn’t really prefer the brand Puma. However, these trainers are right up my street, they literally suit with any outfit. As it is cushioned, they are very comfortable. Also, the chunkiness at the bottom makes me look taller which I’m pleased about haha!

Overall, I am very happy with my purchases as not only do they look good they also feel good!

My favourite youtube at home workouts!

Hey girlies! I hope you are all doing well! I thought I’d share with you guys my daily workout routine which I must say has been effective!

As you can tell I absolutely love Lucy’s workouts! I particularly love these three as they are so easy yet so effective to do! Also, due to the easiness of the workout, I have so much fun doing them. Even though, the timing is short, it still does the job which is amazing for anyone with a busy lifestyle! Anyways, I think she’s the only fitness youtuber that actually smiles while she’s working out which is so damn motivating! 

I’m not going to lie to you guys, but this workout is very challenging! However, extremely effective! Every time I finish doing this workout, I feel so much more confident about my height and it also actually really works! 

Don’t be deceived by the dance title, as this workout is probably the most effective and rewarding workout dance out there. It is highly enjoyable and also, you can really feel your muscles working! 

I think that it is imperative that while working out you also have fun as this will keep you motivated to workout reguarly hence why, I choose these youtube videos as my daily workout routine.

“The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.”
