Morocco 2016 Holiday!

Hey there! I’m really excited for this blogpost as it’s about my favourite holiday destination. As you can probably tell from the title, this blogpost will be about my holiday trip to Morocco (February 2016).

B&B:

Me and my family stayed at a B&B called Riad Koutoubia in Marrakech. I still remember walking in there for the first time, I was speechless as I looked around the beautiful bright coloured patterns and sniffed the memorable fragrance of the place. The managers of the B&B made us feel so welcome and right at home, I have never met nicer people than them, so polite and friendly! I loved waking up every morning in this B&B cause I would look forward to the scrumptious fresh breakfast the lovely workers served. Can I just say that hands down Morocco has the most yummiest orange juice ever, I would literally just go back to Morocco just for the orange juice Haha!  I would highly recommend this B&B for a short stay as it is so cute and cosy, I loved it and felt right at home!

Views:

The pictures speak for themselves- absolutely stunning views anywhere you look in Morocco!

Mosques:

There are many mosques to explore in Morocco. Every single one that I went to was beyond beautiful and spacious, I have never felt more peaceful in my life, seriously made me so grateful for life in itself, such an amazing feeling to have at such beautiful mosques!

Food:

If you want fresh, yummy food then Morocco is the place to go! Loved each and every single dish I ate in Morocco, was packed with such lovely flavours!

Morocco is filled with beautiful colours, which made feel so happy just by looking around. I can honestly say I had the best time ever in Morocco and would love to go back there soon, almost to an extent yearn to go back as I miss it so much!

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this blogpost! Let me know in the comments what your favourite holiday destination is, I’d love to hear from you guys! ❤

MY TRIP TO DUBAI 2016 -PART 2!

Hello everyone! As you can tell from the title this post will be all about my trip to Dubai, I had posted part 1 a while back so be sure to check that out first if you haven’t already! My Trip to Dubai 2016. – Part 1

Now let’s get started with part 2!;)

I’m sure almost ALL of you will recognise this building:

It is none other than the famous BURJ KHALIFA!:O The Burj Khalifa is supposedly the TALLEST building in the whole entire world! I was lucky enough to get to go to the TOP and the views were absolutely BREATHTAKING as you will get to see down below! If you want to go just remember you will be charged per person and need to book in advance (google this) to go inside of the burj but I PROMISE you guys it is so worth it!!

I also visited The Dubai Creek and went on my first EVER boat ride! As it was my first ever boat ride I was kind of nervous and didn’t know what to expect but as soon as I stepped onto the boat and the boat left the dock.. I kind of forgot I was even on a boat! I was just SO MESMERISED by the beauty surrounding the clear waters (yes you guys the water was so BLUE and CLEAR) and we were surrounded by all these tall and beautiful buildings – I actually wish the boat ride was longer haha!

I also got the chance to visit a BEAUTIFUL mosque near to where I was staying – there was a talk and tour for tourists so I just had to go!! It was super fascinating and I learnt so much from it – an incredible experience! If you do get a chance to visit one you definitely should but please remember if you’re a female they will probably ask for you to wear a headscarf and prefer if neither females nor males are showing too much skin. If you happen to be that’s not a huge problem, as they usually do provide a cover up! 🙂

I also visited a place called ‘Souk al Bahar’ which is opposite of the Dubai Mall and water fountain show (refer to part 1). The Souk is indoors and it is largely recognised for it’s gold! They have quite a few shops there selling gold along with other general shops where you can purchase souvenirs and I saw a few places to eat too!

That’s ALL for now you guys! Hope you enjoyed reading this blog post about DUBAI – it is an absolutely amazing city and I really hope I get the chance to visit again sometime soon! If you are considering visiting you most definitely should – you will NOT regret, it has honestly been my FAVOURITE holiday ever and I’m not sure if it can be topped but we will have to see haha!

Spring 2016 Istanbul Holiday!

Hey everyone! I’m so excited to share this post with you lovely people! As you can tell from the title, this post will be about my short stay in Istanbul. One of my favourite hobbies is to travel, I love exploring what this beautiful world has got to offer. Also, I love experiencing other people’s cultures- it’s such a beautiful thing to feel a part of someone else’s culture when you go to their country!

Over my short stay in Istanbul, I stayed at The Byzantium Hotel & Suites. As soon as I stepped in there, I felt right at home and was astonished at the modern interior of the hotel which is absolutely stunning and spacious! Even though there was a problem with the booking when we got there which was not the hotel’s fault rather the company we booked the stay with, the staff resolved the issue in such a quick and friendly manner so I was highly impressed! I still remember stepping inside my hotel room, it was beautiful with a humongous comfy bed which I cannot compliment enough, I have trouble sleeping straight away yet when I was in this hotel, I slept like a baby- seriously had the best night sleep ever in this hotel! The hotel just kept getting better and better as I explored, I discovered a rooftop terrace- oh my God, it was so beautiful and made me feel like I was in some dream! The hotel was so luxurious that they even had their own branded toiletries in the bathroom of my hotel room such as body lotion which I have to say smelt so stunning and the fact that everything in the hotel was spotless was an added bonus! It’s a shame that I didn’t have enough time to go to the hotel spa however, my family did and they came back looking very refreshed and relaxed. I loved waking up in the mornings in this hotel as I would look forward to the yummy hotel breakfast in which there was a variety of food to choose from. There even was a coffee machine which is a huge tick for me as I cannot survive without my beloved coffee. Me being greedy, I would go back for seconds of the coffee and food, whoops I couldn’t help myself, the hotel has the best breakfast selection ever! I cannot recommend this hotel enough- I seriously had the time of my life in this hotel, I highly recommend you to book this hotel if you’re ever in Istanbul.

One thing I was excited about when I was travelling to Istanbul was being able to eat Halal Mcdonalds and that’s exactly what I did haha!

My favourite thing that I ate in Istanbul was a chicken wrap from Loti Cafe & Dining which is located in Istanbul. It was absolutely scrumptious! Also, the service was exceptional- really fast service and very friendly staff! Highly recommend this cafe!

We didn’t have a lot of time in Istanbul as we only travelled there for a short stay so we really wanted to visit the Grand Bazaar however, it was unfortunately closed when we went there due to bank holiday. However, some shops were still open so we went and explored! Trust me when I tell you guys that Istanbul shops sells the best ladies jewellery ever! I brought back home so many dainty bracelets cause I couldn’t resist!

There’s so many places to explore in Istanbul- everywhere you look there’s beautiful views! We visited so many museums and mosques such as the blue mosque. All the mosques we visited were so stunning to look at and I felt so peaceful inside them! We also went on a two hour boat ride in which the wind made me feel so refreshed and free- such a peaceful feeling and the views on both sides were gorgeous! I’m going to stop babbling and let the pictures speak for themselves!

I really enjoyed my time in Istanbul! It’s such a beautiful city with a beautiful culture! I highly recommend you visit Istanbul at least once in your life because if you don’t then you are missing out!
