DIY Kimono; Scarf Hack

Hey girlies! It’s that time again when I share my handy hacks with you lovely lot! Today’s hack is how to make a quick, easy, no sew DIY Kimono! Let’s get straight onto it!

First of all you are going to need a maxi scarf preferably a floral one so that it resembles a Kimono perfectly.

Once you’ve grabbed your maxi scarf, fold the scarf in half from one end to the other.

Grab the end of of the scarf and from about a quarter of the material, tie a knot inwards.

Repeat the above step and tie another note at the other end.

There you have your very own DIY Kimono!

This DIY Kimono would look perfect on top of a plain abaya and also, gives such good coverage!

However, for all non abaya wearers, this DIY Kimono is also a perfect fashion statement piece in an everyday outfit look. Here’s how I would style this DIY Kimono for non abaya wearers.

M&S-Pure Cotton Crew Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt-£6.50

Topshop-MOTO Black Joni Jeans-£36.00

Primark-Black PU Zip Platform Boot-£18.00

Primark-Black Jewel Necklace- £5.00

The boots and necklace would also look really elegant with the DIY Kimono and a plain abaya!

Anybody can slay this DIY Kimono because it’s such a versatile piece!

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this post! Let me know in the comments what you girlies think of this hack, I’d love to hear from you guys! ❤
